Welcome to Hannah Stone Writes (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or purchasing from our Shopify store, you agree to the following terms.

1. Products & Orders

We sell self-published books in physical (paperback, including signed copies) and digital (ebook) formats. All orders are subject to availability. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, including for pricing errors, inventory issues, or suspected fraud.

Signed copies may include minor variations (e.g., signature placement, personalization, or small cosmetic differences).

2. Preorders

We may offer preorder products prior to official release dates.

  • Payment Timing: Payment is charged at checkout.

  • Fulfillment Timing: Preorders are expected to ship on or around the stated release date.

  • Delivery Estimates: We may ship preorders in advance of release to help ensure arrival by the release date, but delivery timing is not guaranteed.

  • By placing a preorder, you acknowledge and accept that release dates and fulfillment timing may change.

If a release is delayed, we will notify you via the email provided at checkout.

3. Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in USD unless otherwise stated. Payment is due per the preorder terms above or at checkout for non-preorder items. Applicable sales tax will be added based on your shipping address and local regulations.

4. Shipping (Physical Books)

We ship to the locations available at checkout.

  • Shipping times are estimates and not guaranteed.

  • Risk of loss transfers to you upon confirmed delivery by the carrier.

  • We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers or incorrect shipping information provided by the customer.

  • Delivery confirmation by the carrier constitutes proof of delivery.

5. Digital Products (Ebooks)

Ebooks are delivered electronically via a third-party service (e.g., BookFunnel).

  • Delivery is typically triggered after purchase or on the product release date for preorders.

  • You are responsible for providing a valid email address and accessing your download.

  • Due to the nature of digital products, all ebook sales are final and non-refundable once delivery has been initiated.

  • We are not responsible for delivery issues caused by email filtering, spam/junk folder routing, incorrect email addresses, or device compatibility issues.

6. Returns & Refunds (Physical Books)

We accept returns only for damaged, defective, or incorrect items.

  • You must contact us at hannahstonewrites@gmail.com within 14 days of delivery.

  • If approved, we will provide return instructions.

  • Refunds or replacements will be issued at our discretion.

  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the issue is due to our error.

We do not accept returns for signed or personalized items unless damaged or defective.

7. Intellectual Property

All books, text, designs, and related content are owned by us or licensed to us and are protected by copyright laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, share, or resell any content (including ebooks) without prior written permission.

8. Use of Website

You agree not to misuse this website, including:

  • Attempting unauthorized access

  • Interfering with site functionality

  • Using content for unlawful purposes

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our products or website.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the product in question.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict of law principles.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
